The Ex.

It got an 11% on Rotten Tomatoes; I didn't think it was that bad, although Zach Braff needs to stop playing the same exact character whenever he acts.

Last night in cinema: Die Welle (The Wave)

Is that based on a book?  Or am I thinking of another Wave?

Yeah, itīs based on the book by Todd Strasser, but this movie has a more tragic ending than the book.

Just watched Enchanted with my daughter.  She's seven and loves anything with princesses in it.  I'm 42 and love anything with Amy Adams in it.

I have a red hair fetish, I think.  She's yummmmmmmmy!

The Professional.

Not as good as the IMDB ranking, but still a rather touching yet also action-packed movie. Gary Oldman also gave one of the best portrayals of a villain I've ever seen, comparable to Javier Barden in No Country For Old Men.

Just saw that recently as well. Certainly a great performance from Natalie Portman as well, although her character was somewhat disturbing at times.

My friends and I also found the exchange "You really like that plant"/"It's my best friend" to score tremendously well on the Unintentional Comedy scale.
Except that it's Intentional.

I love that movie.

Well, I wouldn't say it qualifies as a "joke," so much as the exchange just happened to be humorous.
What I meant is that your reaction is the reaction aimed at by the director.

Well I've seen all those already Smiley  I liked them, that's why I'm watching his other stuff.  I've got Last Temptation of Christ, Bringing out the Dead and The Age of Innocence lined up next although I'm not so keen on the last one.
Last Temptation of Christ-I'm 45 min in and so far, meh.

In the past 3 or so days I've seen Ocean's 13, and Live Free Or Die Hard.

I really enjoyed both.

Live Free or Die Hard was awesome...and even had the original Die Hard score from '88. However, to me, Rambo felt more like a Rambo movie than Live Free or Die Hard felt like a Die Hard. Impressive given that only 12 years had passed since the last Die Hard while 20 years had passed since the last Rambo.

Definitely NOT a feel good movie. Interesting contrast to Juno.

A History of Violence.

An interesting combination of a troubled family drama and an action movie that still does both very well.

Primary Colors-If Bill gave that speach Travolta gave at the union run plant, he'd have been laughed off stage.

That's one film I didn't really like for some reason. I actually preferred Eastern Promises, unlike most critics.
