The Descent
Snakes on a Plane

Both were bearable, though not entertaining.

Did you interpret it as a movie about what is wrong with America (because that is what Swedish critics have done...I suspect they're being idiots...)

No because I didn't try to read into the movie.

It was a hilarious movie, though to be honest Borat looked the most 'sane' in the scenes with the rodeo guy and later the megachurch

Oh, what did you think? (kudos for not watching a dubbed version!) I watched it a couple of years back, I found it pretty cool. Though I think one almost has to be Swedish to appreciate the dialouge, "Jag är döden" ("I am death") is a classic line that just doesn't work quite as well in English.

Little Miss Sunshine. Yeah, it's finally showing here. (FYI - it got an "ages 6 & up" rating here. Tongue )

The Seventh Seal, in Swedish with English subtitles.

Oh, what did you think? (kudos for not watching a dubbed version!)
THey weren't showing a dubbed version.

Infernal Affairs

F***ing awesome. Now for the prequel.
Watching the remake is filed under "things I'll do with my mom this Christmas".

I actually watched Shawshank Redemption for about the 8th time, but this time dubbed in Thai.  I guess you could say I'm working on my Thai a bit.

I didn't like Babel too much. My girlfriend hates it with a ferocity that sometimes scare me...I have trouble makin my mind up about it, to be honest.

Babel was okay. I'd give it a 6. It was difficult to watch however because you know something bad is going to happen, and of course, it does. It also got a little preachy at one point. Overall though it wasn't too bad.

Little Miss Sunshine was very funny. Best comedy this year, IMO. I also liked Borat, but it was a little painful to watch at times as well, mostly because of the stupidity shown seriously.

The last movie I watched was The Bridge on the River Kwai. Absolutely amazing. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

In general: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

At theatres: Borat

Both were excellent and get 4 stars. It was very satisfying and enjoyable watching two naked men fight each other.
