k...I wasn't done yet when I posted that.  Somehow it got worse over the last several minutes (I'm actually still not done with it yet).  Is this the worst movie Spielburg has ever been involved with?  If not, what is worse?  Maybe it's a really clever parody of movies like it?

WATCHMEN

Better the second time around.

I saw it again today. I noticed so much more! Like when Dan and Laurie were walking into the alley they saw Rorschach without his mask on.

I saw Watchmen last night.

It was long, but I liked it.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

It was pretty funny though what was with it becoming a chick flick at the end?

Last House on the Left (1972)

The 70s soundtrack makes it seem goofier than it actually is. It's a fairly brutal movie but there is also a comedic element thrown in in the form of two bumbling cops. Overall, it is a flawed but interesting exploitation film.

The shoestring budget also meant horrible production values and acting and I found it overall more funny than brutal but for the wrong reasons. That's why I think that remake actually looks better.

I saw some of the new one the other day. It's not too bad.

APOCALYPSE NOW

Incredible and terrifying, as always. Perhaps the best film of all time.

Religulous.

Maher was often funny and made a lot of good points, but he was also a total ass at times, and the ending was simply ridiculous. Like it could've easily been something from one of Einzige's posts. It's not going to win anyone over.

The Devil's Rejects

I wouldn't exactly call it a great movie but it is certainly 10 times better than that unwatchable POS House of 1,000 Corpses. It also has a good albeit fairly predictable soundtrack.

Notes on a Scandal

Interesting, decent film.
I like both Dench and Blanchett.
Not sure about the ending.

American Teen.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. I made it about halfway through before I couldn't take it any more. It was so blatantly scripted and fake and the idea this was some realistic look at high school was downright laughable. The "characters" were all such archetypes, like actual ficticious characters in a movie which sort of completely contradicts this sort of thing and yet none were interesting. It failed at being either real or entertaining, the worst of both worlds.

This will be the second movie from Netflix I've ever given 1 star to that I wasn't already aware was going to be horrible and was watching for laughs/curiosity when I put it on my queue (the first being Shortbus.)

Margot at the Wedding

Now this was no The Squid and the Whale but it managed to be rather enjoyable. Jack Black's casting a movie like this was a stroke of genius really, he provided all the needed comic relief.
