Can you think of any counties that Trump lost in 2016, that may vote for the GOP in 2024?

Here's what I think:

Cobb, GA
Orange, CA
Ann Arundel, MD
Scott, IA
Fort Bend, TX

Muskegon County, MI
Lake County, MN
Lorain County, OH
Mahoning County, OH
Lackawanna County, PA

Of the ones listed in the OP, I would be very surprised if Orange or Fort Bend voted GOP in 2024, barring a major partisan realignment. (The other three are possible if the GOP candidate wins comfortably - although, I expect the five I listed would flip well before any of those)

It could be possible if GOP would nominate a Romney-esque candidate, which would take back some of the 'burbs.

If Trump loses in 2020 by a good enough margin, then yes but if Trump wins in 2024 than all 5 of those counties will vote Dem by pretty large margins
