Too early to know, but if we come out of this virus situation OK, it may boost him. What is worth noting is this has made the Democratic primary largely irrelevant and Biden and Bernie have disappeared from the headlines.
Which is bad for Biden. Just like I stated previously national crises elevate the President and this crisis is not like a Katrina or Sandy it's more like 9/11. Trump is not going to be blamed for a little bit of a slowdown. As long as he prevents a depression I think he wins re-election.

Bad news for Trump then since every action he is taking is making a depression more likely
No the fed and Congress won't let it happen. The virus is starting to peak on the west coast.

Too early to tell, that's the only answer.
As we speak, I'd say the chances are 60-40% in Biden's favor.

I agree.
I would even say that it could be 55-45 in Biden's favor.

I say no; he only got 46% of the vote last time and that was against a Democratic opponent who was herself fairly unpopular. Dems will be more united this time behind Biden than they were behind Hillary; fewer liberals will be voting Green or for write-ins. Trump's average approval rating from RCP has rarely gotten above 46% in all these last three years.

Probably not. Millions of Democrats learned a really brutal lesson on 11/8/2016 about why you can't just leave it blank or write in something cutesy, no matter how sure you are of victory. They won't repeat that mistake.

This is a key factor in why Democrats have overperformed 2016 in essentially every special and general election (outside of FL) since then.

Biden is the lesser of the evils, but let's remember whom have 2 lawyers in prison. The shoe was on the other foot and Hilary didn't get indicted. Trump has been impeached

This sounds logical, but the fact that Trump was elected in the first place was not.

Does logic enter into our elections anymore? Trump broke the mold.

Biden is the slight favorite.

We havent seen much of Biden, that's why his polls are dropping. If he picks Harris, he will lose the race
