Well, I got bored a couple days ago and started making maps for nations in a balkanized USA. Very original, I know.

(Own work made with https://mapchart.net/usa-counties.html)

Wikipedia, 2021 United States presidential election:
The 2021 United States presidential election was the 59th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The election was delayed from the original date of November 3, 2020 due to the 2019-2021 coronavirus pandemic. Incumbent President Mike Pence ran for election to a full term. He and Senator Tammy Baldwin each received 266 electoral votes, while Senator Mitt Romney received 6. The results of the election were called into question, as allegations of voter suppression in the South caused results to be released several days after polls closed. The House of Representatives was unable to select the President, and the Senate was unable to select the Vice President. Speaker Cheri Bustos, who was to become Acting President, was locked out of the White House by President Pence, leading to violent protests and the eventual breakup of the United States.

Unrealistic? Yeah. What did you expect?

Anyway, this series will cover the national (or provincial, in Alaska's case) politics of each of the countries. We'll be starting from the Northwest and making our way east. That means Alaska's up first.

Taken by Canada after the breakup of the US, Alaska has a larger population than all of the rest of northern Canada combined. The province has 7 federal districts (the House of Commons was expanded to 345) and 31 provincial districts. Let's first cover the federal districts.

(Edited version of Alaska blank borough map
Inqvisitor & MB298 / CC BY-SA (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0))

or if you want a better look, here's the DRA link (The area across from the kenai peninsula is uninhabited, and it given to the Alaskan Interior riding): https://davesredistricting.org/join/e494e689-363f-4f30-8660-ecf44b9fce02

Riding names and MPs:
Juneau-Cordova MP Jesse Kiehl (Liberal)
Fairbanks MP Jim Matherly (Conservative)
Alaskan Interior MP Harry Brower Jr. (Independent, elected as Conservative)
Wasilla-Palmer MP Sarah Palin (Alaskan Independence)
Anchorage North-Eagle River MP Christopher Constant (Liberal)
Anchorage Centre MP Austin Quinn-Davidson (New Democratic)
Anchorage South-Kenai MP Peter Micciche (Conservative)

The parties are the same as in the rest of Canada, except for:

Alaskan Independence Party (AKIP): Alaskan Independence, Conservatism, Libertarianism

This party has a decent amount of support, specifically in the Palmer and Wasilla area. Left-wing independence parties exist but get very little support.

Provincial Parties:
Alaska Party: Conservatism
Alaska Liberals: Liberalism
Alaska NDP: Social Democracy
AKIP
Alaskan Greens-First People's: Green politics, Native Alaskan minority politics

Now, I don't feel like making a thing in Paint 3D for the provincial map, so here it is:
https://davesredistricting.org/join/1aad00ca-6be1-4429-8189-1204a83f659a

and with the districts colored by party: https://davesredistricting.org/join/e3d50ed6-cdca-4ba5-8dee-992c1f9539eb

Conservative: 9 seats
Liberal: 9 seats
AKIP: 6 seats
NDP: 4 seats
G-FP: 3 seats

Current Government: Liberal-NDP-G-FP Premier Ethan Berkowitz (Lib-Anchorage Kincaid)

Not that it's important, but what was the electoral map, and what happened to Trump since Pence is the sitting president?

Biden and Trump both caught corona. Biden recovered but dropped out after he got sick, Trump... didn't.
