For example, Carter-Reagan-Reagan-Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-Obama-Obama-Trump.

Obviously more common than the reverse, but I imagine fairly rare. Consider how many voters might skip an election, not showing up in 84 for example. Or a voter who was moderate then and conservative now, or vice versa. They exist for sure, but they are far less common than straight ticket voters.

Very rare. Almost half of those guys didn't win a majority of the vote.
