Looking at the 2016 Kansas results map, a handful of counties in the southewestern region have swung D. What are the demographics of this region compared to the heartland of Kansas?

Southwestern Kansas has a growing Hispanic population, which, although not large enough to flip many counties, their presence likely contributed to the Democratic swing in the area.
