I know he voted for Humphrey in 1968 and Bush in 2000.

I'd say:
1968- Humphrey
1972- McGovern
1976- Carter
1980- Anderson
1984- Mondale
1988- Dukakis
1992- Clinton
1996- Clinton
2000- Bush
2004- Bush
2008- Obama
2012- Obama
2016- Clinton

Agree with all except '04, no way he voted for Bush post-Iraq.

Apparently Chris Matthews used to hate Hillary Clinton as well

Quote
More than six years ago, long before Hillary Clinton began running for president, the Philadelphia Inquirer magazine reported that, according to an MSNBC colleague, Matthews had said of Clinton: “I hate her. I hate her. All that she stands for.”

Yeah, you're probably right. I was waffling on that one. I thought maybe the post-911 haze was still strong enough to sway him to Bush.

I always took him for a partisan-more-than-ideologically-pure party hack ... why the Bush guesses?
