People realized what he was truly about once he was attacked in the debate before South Carolina. I said once he was scrutinized by other candidates, his numbers would drop. I was right.

Those were taken before Pete and Klobuchar dropped out and endorsed Biden.  Also, people tend to line up behind the frontrunner the farther we get into the contests.

2016 might be the exception for the Democrats because even though Hillary had the nomination wrapped up by mid-March, Sanders continued investing in the remaining states.
