Completely forgot that tonight was Joshua Collins' primary race in Washington, lmao.

He lost a lot of momentum after creating some kind of independent third party, but he's still in the jungle primary tonight.

Down goes Steve Watkins. I wonder how many more incumbents will lose.

Lisa McClain is up big in MI-10. So much for the GOP never nominating women in safe seats.

The candidate she’s beating is Shane Hernandez.

Weirdly high numbers of No votes for Medicaid expansion in rural counties. I can only assume it's because more right-leaning voters are voting in person.

Really intensifying now. I have to assume it's a left/right turnout disparity. November could be pretty rough if this happens then too.

At long last, we can officially call NY-15 D for Torres. Still no call in NY-12 D because of this tomfoolery: https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/04/politics/federal-judge-absentee-ballots-new-york/index.html

I’m really hoping that the absentee ballots will bail Hoadley out in MI-6.

Unrelated -

Minnesota DFL is filing a FEC complaint against Ilhan Omar's top challenger, alleging that he's been creating companies to "...intentionally obscure the individuals providing services to his campaign".

Still nothing in from Boone County at least, and a ton left in the St Louis metro.

But yeah, way closer than I would've liked.   Some people are awful (or dumb..)

I think the end margin will be something like what St. Charles is reporting at right now- 51.4 Yes 48.6 No.

Crazy that RTW got smashed yet this looks like being somewhat close. I would've thought health care was more popular than unions.

Disappointing that Kansas Republicans aren't that crazy.

The margin must be larger than that in the end, considering that the vast majority of precincts left are from St. Louis City and County.

Really hoping so. Just depends on how many votes are left out in St. Louis County.

The Medicaid margin is likely to continue widening - potentially reaching high double digits.

As of a few minutes ago:

Quote
80% of the outstanding precincts* statewide are in STL City & County, where Medicaid expansion is currently winning 3-to-1.

Of the remaining 20%, a quarter are in Greene, Boone and Jackson (all yes counties).

Gonna need a checkmark soon.

Tentative projection for Medicaid expansion (based mostly on s[inks]tty methodology of NYT "precincts" - though mail voting is minimal in MO as I recall):

Quote
769,000 Yes   53.6%
667,000 No   46.4%

1,436,000 Turnout
