https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/06/23/us/elections/results-north-carolina-house-district-11-republican-primary-runoff-election.html

Madison Cawthorn (24 year old paraplegic) has nearly 2/3 of the vote over Lynda Bennett (Trump endorsee) in Mark Meadows' district.

Well it's still early, but if it holds, the GOP will once again have voted against a qualified Republican woman in their safe seats.

I wouldn't call this right-wing extremist with tons of skeletons in closet "a qualified Republican woman". And wouldn't vote for a candidate solely because she is a woman (or anybody else) too...

Matt Gurtler: GA - 9 (Safe R)

He's going to be a good addition to the liberty wing since Amash is unlikely to win.

Jim Marchant: NV - 4 (Lean D)
Let's see if Trump can push him forward

Rich Mccormick: GA - 7 (Tossup)
I think this seat will go red. Interesting about GA in general is it's trending more blue, but the representatives are some of the most conservative politicians in the U.S. Very few states have a trifecta that would compete with Mccormick, Hice, and Gurtler.

DDNN Projects that Mr. Josh Hicks wins the Kentucky 6th Democratic primary
Ms. Rhonda Palazzo is the apparent winner of the Kentucky 3rd District Republican Primary. A recount is possible.

Today, downballot primaries for Colorado, Utah, and Oklahoma are being held.

Of most interest is the Colorado DEM Senate primary, where former gov. John Hickenlooper will face off against Andrew Romanoff, the former CO House Speaker.

The good thing about Colorado is that they are used to dealing with an absentee election, so we actually will know the results tonight. The other interesting races are on the GOP side in Utah, so who knows when those are all enumerated.
