Cenk started crying before TYT cut to a commercial break, for those not watching.

Yeah, there is no room for the left in the modern Democratic Party.

Bernie's rally right now is one "I am the best" line after the other followed by a line to get the crowd to boo Biden.

Damn, I missed it. Hopefully there'll be a compilation up soon. Seeing Chunk Yogurt go full meltdown every two years is one of the few joys I still have in life.

Congrats to Biden as the nominee.  I guess IL and WI are out of luck whereas MI and IN and OH and PA will vote for Biden

Really? I never thunk it'd be bad for him

Also, surprised at the lack of mocking towards Bernie's speech right now in this thread. Then again, we're apparently busy mocking Cenk's crying (Check back in 90 minutes when CD-25 starts reporting votes)

Quote
ABC: Joe Biden is on pace to win Minnesota despite **no staff on the ground** while Sanders had staff and several events while Bloomberg spend $13 million on ads in the state.

I am howling over here.

Thanks, Liz

Extremely disappointed with her tonight.

It's pretty clear she wanted to prevent Bernie from ever getting the nomination.

Maybe Bernie and his supporters could learn something if they asked themselves how they managed to alienate a former ally so strongly. If nothing else, it shows why people like me are so skeptical of his ability to enact major reforms requiring lots of allies in government.

Oh f**k off

You're literally proving Crumpets' point for him, but sure, go off I guess 🤷

Warren stabbed Bernie in the back, and he tried really hard to defuse the situation. He really went out of his way to avoid attacking her. The idea that he alienated her is absurd. Anyone else would have counterattacked about her record of lying.

Very strange how someone who has posted on a politics forum for fifteen years can't fathom why a front runner wouldn't go out of his way to attack a candidate polling in fourth place.

CNN: Bloomberg "does not want to help Sanders become the nominee" as he assesses path forward

My feeling is that if Bloomberg drops-out soon, then Biden is more than likely going to be the nominee.

Bernie Sanders has underperformed his polling in almost every state tonight. Places like Virginia and North Carolina (which were tied a week ago), saw Biden run away with it by 30+ points. He's currently trailing Biden in ing Minnesota where he outspent and outcampaigned him like 3 to 1.

This guy is not electable. He can't beat Hillary. He can't beat Biden. And his argument about "high voter turnout" has not materialized in his favor. Turnout in Virginia tonight was massive, I'm hearing Obama 2008 levels. But it benefitted BIDEN, not Bernie.

Some of y'all need to finally admit Twitter is not real life.

Anyone notice the Texas needle slowly slipping away from Biden? Sanders has a pretty good lead there now.

I was ready compromise and get behind Biden, but seeing all this "haha suck it Bernie Bros you're all losers" is convincing me more and more that there is no room for progressives in the Democratic Party.

There literally hasn’t been that much of that at all? And anyone who IS doing that is an idiot. I’m a Biden supporter who supported Bernie in 2016. I was crushed when he lost. I enthusiastically supported Hillary and my views have changed a bit, but I would never make fun of someone who’s candidate isn’t doing well. People poured their hearts into Bernie and I know how that feels. It sucks

One thing I will never understand about Sanders is why he ran two presidential campaigns based on common sense reforms that were popuar in the States and more or less common practice in the rest of the developed world, and then royally ed it by (inaccurately) describing himself as a socialist to an electorate that truly despises any semblance of what they call "socialism". It was a stupid and unnecessary tactic and it's turned round and bit him.
I don't get it either. He is not socialist at all. Just the word "socialism" is poisonous in American politics.

Unfortunately, the safety and anonymity of posting on a forum can bring out the worst in people. If the polls show anything it's that the vast majority of Biden voters like Sanders and the vast majority of Sanders voters like Biden. Try not to let the vocal minority discourage you.  The reality is that Sanders has done a lot to advance the causes he supports, even if he doesn't win the nomination.

James Carville is giddy on MSNBC right now

Well yeah, the commie is getting crushed.
Doesn't mean Biden is the better general election candidate.

You literally just said earlier that you’d rather Bernie win because he’s easier to beat?? Are you a complete idiot or just trolling?

He is both.

Honestly, it feels like you're one of the few Biden supporters that isn't doing the mocking in this thread.
