If Biden wins Texas or Bernie doesn't win CA by 20+%, Biden is the nominee.

Was suspected based upon the early VA call, but suggests margins are likely similar in both.

If Sanders doesn't win both CA and TX, Biden is the nominee.

Wow, I thought NC might have been closer than VA but Sanders might be in for another landslide defeat there. This night could be catastrophic for Sanders.

Biden got 63% of the black vote in North Carolina too. Even won Hispanics by 15%.

Bloomberg needs to drop out.

This is just a brutal night for Sanders. Instacall in VA, instacall in NC, Biden leading by 30+ points in VA, underperforming in VT, etc.

Guess Bernie wasn't a good fit for Virginia after all.  Perhaps all those Berniebros in Arlington (county of Fairfax) didn't turn out at record levels for his revolution?

Democrats could be making the same mistake as 2016...going against the energy candidate..we shall see...

So...many...ellipses...
Biden is the swamp. Easy playbook for Trump.

Trump is much more corrupt than Biden ever was or will be. It’s not even a contest
LOL Dems are literally going for the same type of candidate in 2016 when they lost.

Biden is a man though. Even if he shares every other flaw of Clinton's, that is worth a lot. For instance nobody has ever called Biden "shrill" or "unlikable."

Trump is going to destroy Biden. He is going to be swift  boated like Kerry was.

Nope, because Biden is not Hillary.  People like him.  The suburbs have trended bigly to Dems.  Without Bernie's fringe positions on the ballot, Dems win the WH and senate.

Dems making the same mistakes as 2016. Hilarious..

Biden is winning first time voters.
Biden is winning black voters.
Young people are not turning out.

Makes me think there's no way Bernie could win in November based on all of this.

You've been saying how Bernie can't win.

Also: expect a more united Democratic Party this time as opposed to 2020.  In 2016, many people assumed Hillary would win and didn't recognize the stakes for what they were.  That is no longer the case.  Hillary was an extremely polarizing candidate, and Joe Biden (at least for now) is not.

Exit polls are very similar...

One notable feature is that Bernie is not performing nearly as well with White Voters (at least according to unadjusted exit polls), most significantly White Women which make up a significant component of the electorate here....
