Unsurprising. While Cooper is the slight favorite, I've always thought the race would get much closer.

Am I missing something? How is being up 8 and at nearly 50% bad news for Cooper? He was never going to win by 20% in a state like NC. He’s not safe, but he’s most definitely favored. Lean D, closer to Likely than Toss-Up.

Yeah, what the hell is with people? A Democrat winning North Carolina by more than 1% is worth celebrating in itself!

Hell, I'm going to help myself to some coffee and cherry pie in celebration over what looks like an inevitable Cooper rout (points if you get my forced reference here), even if it isn't by double digits.
