I loathe applying such terms to historical events, but I'll bite: doesn't get more Chad than Grant and Sherman.

During the Civil War both sides were extremely Chad, tbh. The South's behavior after losing the war was absolute Virgin energy, though.

The South was the only region of the country that ever tried to form its own country. Hard to get more Chad than that, though Sherman and Grant still make it close.

Men tended to marry slightly younger in the South. That plus a greater need for man power meant a greater proportion of Confederate soldiers were probably married. So Union soldiers were in all likelihood virgins in greater numbers.

Oh yeah, forgot about that.
Though I dunno how serious that ever was. Isn't it disputed to some extent how much leading the country was ever a goal of the Hartford Convention?
