Friendly reminder that Cook has this as Safe R and that all the "experts" seem to agree that Cornyn is far less vulnerable than Ernst.

Cornyn is so unbelievably lucky he's going to be facing a Some Dude/Chick. Against a serious candidate I think he would have been in real trouble.

I feel like Ramirez might end up being his worst case scenario candidate, because she's going to rocket to prominence if A) She wins the primary, and B) Bernie also wins the Texas primary. That's to say nothing of the damage she could do with Bernie's and Beto's combined war machines.

This poll is using a sample which is 50% hispanic and Trump is losing to a generic democrat by 1. Not trying to unskew anything but this poll has some problems in terms of representativeness.

Gen. Eric de Mocrat should be running away with this, given his military experience.

WHY did Beto have to throw his career away on a midlife crisis presidential run where he took a bunch of positions that render him absolutely unelectable in Texas!??!?!!? Sad

IA has an excellent record as a Bellwether state, I doubt TX flips without IA. Kim Graham is a qualified candidate and isnt Patty Judge

Yea, I was about to add it to the map and link this thread, but then I saw the methodology and realized it's a crappy poll.  Not sure why you would commission a poll like this.  If you want to look at Latinos, then just look at them for the whole sample size! I mean wtf?

The fact that Beto chose to run for president and got too burnt out to run for senate again is a freakin' crime.  Could literally be the difference between who controls the chamber in January.
