Talking Points Pete was spoon-fed talking points through his entire career, and groomed by the DNC to be a candidate for higher office one day.

Yet we're spending hours sh**tting on an incumbent Senator with a fairly impressive resume.

We're so screwed.

I despise Buttigieg, and he would lose to Trump if he were the nominee. Klobuchar, by contrast, is the most electable candidate on that stage that the Democrats have.

Bloomberg: "I'm not going to need any money [from individual donors]." God help us if this plutocrat becomes the Democratic nominee. I would almost be tempted to vote for Trump if he does.

Because:

1) They're not the same candidate?
2) Because moderate candidates =/= moderate voters?

Take your pick. Donald Trump was the moderate GOP pick in 2016 by your reasoning.

Amazing how they talk about polarizing and then want a bloody convention fight to take down frontrunner Bernie.

I need someone to photoshop Amy's face in the American Psycho scene where he's holding the axe.

Please.

Because voters are less rational than we on Atlas like to think, so combining the vote shares of different candidates (like some people love to do in response to favorable polls for Bernie) is always absurd.

Amy is the class rep from a 90s anime. Pete is the class rep from your actual high school.

Because voters don’t vote based on ideology. The 2nd choice of Biden voters is Bernie. Klobuchar supporters go to Warren. We vote based on the candidate, not based on their ideological lane.

1. This was the first Democratic Debate I've watched in it's entirety since possibly 2008.

2. I realize even more right now how likely Donald Trump's re-election as President is in 2020.

Wonder how this debate affects Nevada. Biden and Warren were the candidates in free fall before this, and they had very strong performances tonight. It'll be interesting to see how Saturday plays out.

Klobuchar is literally shaking rn. She alright?
I think she's truly ticked off by Pete's attacks.

She's got some illness. Her hair was shaking from the moment the debate began just like in her first debate.
She’s a bit nervous, so what?

It's not nervousness. It's a nerve or muscular disorder that may be triggered by nervousness.

Idk if I'd go that far. I'd say she just looks extremely stressed tf out

Who were those protesters at the end? This is the second debate in which protesters have interrupted the debate.

Huh Not that I like FPTP, but it's how almost every statewide and federal election for any office other than the presidency works.
