I get the feeling Bloomberg is in the wrong primary.

Bloomberg used a Republican attack line against Sanders, denouncing him as a "socialist with three houses." This is something that I see the Trumpists say on a frequent basis.

What Bloomberg, I think, wanted to point out is that Sanders is a millionaire due to book royalties which is the fruit of his labor just like Bloomberg built a business and now enjoy the fruits of his labor.

And this is a legitimate attack, but the way he did came across in a manner that was jarring, particularly within the context of a Democratic debate. And as I've said, it's an attack line which has been used by many of Trump's supporters.

I think the Democrats make an error when discussing "working class" and "middle class" people. When they talk about them, and you actually listen, they're not talking about working class people who make 30, 40, 50K a year. That's what I make, and I'm far and away no where NEAR "rich". When democrats discuss these things, they're talking about people below the poverty line. In my state the federal poverty guidelines are around 17K a year. I know people broke as a joke and don't have a pot to piss in and even they still exceed the federal or state poverty lines. So when democrats discuss "working class" people, they may actually be referring to poor people. Like East Cleveland poor. Really, really poor.

So?  That's an argument for changing the federal and state policy lines.

"Bloomberg owns more wealth than the bottom 125 million Americans. That's wrong and immoral."

Go off!!

I own more wealth than the bottom 125 million Americans. Because they have negative wealth. Debt. More Bernie nonsense

All this electability hysteria. Wonder why these candidates aren’t polling so well in the primaries? Such a confusing conundrum.

Whoa.  Bloomberg just won the election.  They should just play they clip on repeat.

WE TRIED COMMUNISM.  IT DIDNT WORK!

Stop.

Because you don't like it?  No.

Stop derailing the thread and/or posting just to antagonize others.

No.  Its what I think and I won't censor myself.  (You can keep deleting my posts, I'll keep reposting them.  You don't even have the balls to moderate them so there is a paper trail.).

Warren comes off as that harridan relative who cooks nothing but liver and onions whenever you go over to her house, and she makes you drink castor oil for the slightest trespass.

Most of the electorate doesn’t even remember the Cold War so the “communism” response is weak from Bloomberg

More than anyone else, even Buttigieg or Bloomberg, Klobuchar always makes me feel like she's some sort of cartoon 'democratic politician' come to life. (The same way Trump often feels like someone cast an 'over-the-top parody capitalist' villain.) Not certain why.

To me she comes off as a law professor. Not that it's a bad thing, just not great in a Presidential debate.

Muted Green Line from the thread for 6 hours for derailing it off course and re-posting a moderated post.

Amy always looks like she's tearing up.

I don't know if she's sad or just overly passionate.

Either way, I hope she's okay.

Love how Pete keeps bringing up Bernie will raise taxes on anyone making over 29k. This needs to be repeated daily in Bloomberg ads

Ironically enough, she was attacking Bloomberg on his electability earlier, and yet she too, in my opinion, would lose to Trump. After what I've seen tonight, though, I think Bloomberg would actually do worse than her. He would whip white working-class and rural white voters into a frenzy against him, and would depress turnout among younger voters, progressives, and minorities.

I’m giving Pete a B so far.
Doing right:
- Emphasizing electability
- Staying calm
- Solid hits on Mike and Bernie

Doing wrong:
- Being a bit mean to Amy
- Not dominating, especially compared to Liz

That moderator should have let Biden respond to Warren.
