"Arthur" is an antisemitic and homophobic propaganda

Yes, I know "Arthur" received much praise recently for supposedly advocating tolerance with that whole Mr. Rayburn coming out, but let's take a look at the real message that creeps beneath.

First off, a Jewish character on the show is portrayed as a monkey. What kind of sick bastard would like to teach the children that Jews and monkeys are the same thing? That's "Der Stürmer' stuff for you, only delivered in a stubble, subliminal way.

Second, as mentioned already, a gay character is portrayed as a rat. For a young, impressionable mind it will be hard not to associate gay people with rats afterwards.

It may come as a shock to you, but what else would you expect from a show that literally guest-starred the infamous Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha?

I watched Arthur almost every day as a little kid and now I'm an Atlas Forum poster. QED.
