If you can't make the live draft, then fix your predraft rankings so the Yahoo computer doesn't select anybody you don't want and selects certain people before others.  I do that just in case I have to go somewhere.

It's only a suggestion.  You really can't move to Dallas or even San Antonio?

Houston Pollution is an established team from last season, that's the only reason I ask you.

And yes, I am aware of the history of the club, so you need not tell me.

Monroe City Colt 45s

(Monroe City is 2 hours northeast of St. Louis...)

(There's no room for the . in .45s...)

You don't have to do it.  I was only asking.

Sorry, it is just... two teams in Houston... two teams around New York... two teams in the Hampton Roads (!) and one team in Washington, which is all of two hours away.  It's a little much.

4:45 would be a bad  time for me.  Not sure what we  should do.  I don't really like the pre-ranking options (can get screwed with too many people in the same position that way

I did the best I could with what I had.  They just now opened up the weekends.  How does March 4th at 6 PM sound?

Because of the fact i am currently stuck in retail & tend to work almost every sat its generally not a good day for me.  I am currently looking for another job, but unless I find one within a monmnth (which is unlikely) Saturdays will be tough.  I also think it would be better if we can get thiis as close to the start of the season as possible.  A majort Spring Training (or World Classic Injury) would reall suck.  One Sat I can swing would be March 18th  (if it is between 5-6pm).  But if its available, not to much trouble (and other members are ok with it) I think it would be best to get a sunday a week or two before the season starts.

One of the primary reasons I wanted to pick a date that was so far out was because of the unknown variables which you mentioned.  Makes things more interesting, IMHO.  However, the rest of you want to go in a couple of weeks ahead of the season, than that is fine.

As for your personal concerns, Smash... I'll have everyone else weigh in, but if it is decided that what is best for most of us is inconvienient for anyone else.  Then the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, I'm affraid.

How about, in exchange for having an earlier date for the draft, I will allow 15 trades, instead of just 10 per team?  I was trying to keep a riegn on trades, because of people like Tweed who don't have an of their original players left at the end of the season.

What did I do?

I'm not playing, btw, fantasy baseball is too much work.

Maybe it wasn't you, but I thought it was you... someone ended the season with about 16 trades last year.

Wow... the Seattle Starbucks and the Houston Pollution are the only teams making the trip back this year.  Sad

Well, I guess the Wabbits are the decendents of the Pink Fuzzie Bunnies, but still.

And the Interns are also back, sorry I missed that.

Um, my team is back this year.

I think that will work with me.  Although, I guess I'll move my team to Kansas City.

The new date should work for me, most times on a weekend I can do.

I've moved my team away from NYC, out to Syracuse.

I'm just back to tell you guys that we need one more team in order to draft.  I see that we have some problems involving the draft time.  Can you guys agree on an alternate time?
