What a f**king world we live in. Then again, the more I think about it, the more 2020 just feels like a Marlins World Series type of year.

How's this for a crazy stat:

Every team has played three games, and every team has a loss. This 'first round' of the playoffs is going to be the absolute dumbest invention in history when we have a sub-.500 team win the pennant (and that'd be worth it if it would make them get rid of it). At the very least, it should be a 'best of 4', tie goes to the division winner in the first round of the playoffs (for this year only!), much like soccer promotion playoffs. Amazing teams lose three game series all the time, and pitching rotations will be hard to prepare for the real playoffs.

Going to be wild to get a feel for the MVP and Cy Young frontrunners in a couple weeks...Keep is up, Sir Didi, my heart belongs to you alone.

Test them again in a couple days and they'll be negative same thing happened to NASCAR driver Jimmy Johnson. He tested positive with no symptoms and then several days later tested negative.

With that said I'm pleasantly surprised that the Giants split their series with the Dodgers.

Y'know, a lot of people are focusing on the health risks for the players (which - as we've seen from E-Rod developing myocarditis - can be really serious), but I think what's not being given enough attention is the risk that coaching staffs have been exposing themselves to. Some of these guys are pretty old.

Why MLB hasn't shut the season down is beyond me.

State Governments (especially those in states where Governors are taking COVID seriously) need to step up, and refuse to allow the teams to play.
