She has the best resume, and the political ambition.  It depends alot on the direction the GOP goes after the 2020 election.  I think she's the frontrunner if Trump loses.

Also, if there is an economic collapse in a 2nd Trump term she'll probably sit out 2024 and wait.

I sure hope so. She's keeping a very low profile these Days but I've seen her campaigning for Joni Ernst & Cory Gardner over the last year.

It also depends on which Direction the GOP will go after Trump. Despite being the UN-Ambassador under Trump she never fully embraced Trumpism compared to Pompeo, Rubio, Graham, Hawley, etc.

1. Speak for yourself. I certainly don’t "#WantNikki" in 2024.
2. She’s probably the most overrated potential 2024 GOP candidate by far. My "bold" prediction is that she won’t even come close to winning the Republican nomination if she decides to run for some reason.

After Trump, Haley is not the Gavin Newsom of the GOP party. Dems have Gavin Newsom in 2024 and Joe Kennedy if he wins the Senate race, in 2028. I dont know whom the GOP have after Trump

The GOP is going to nominate Donald Trump Jr. two to five times.

But Biden isn't, you know, the governor of South Carolina.

That’s not my point— what I’m saying is that a strong lead in the 4th primary state will likely disintegrate if the candidate doesn’t do well in the first three. He’s dipped 15 points since IA.

Also President Tom Harkin says hi.

Even if she loses the first three by a lot, she'll still win SC. Its her home state.

Also Tom Harkin won IA.

Completely wrong. Haley will be nominated and win if Trump loses in 2020 and maybe even if he wins 2020.

Cheney didn't run when he was the VP in 2008.

1. No, for the Democrats in this thread, we will not be nominating Donald Trump Jr. I have no doubt he might run, and there's certainly some diehards who might go for him, but he won't win.

2. Yes, Haley can win. With that said, definitely wouldn't cast her as the frontrunner. Kelestian was right, she is essentially Rubio 2.0 if we're being honest, and she'll have a rather similar base of supporters. In truth, the question is whether she can expand that base, and she'd probably want to focus on NH in that regard tbh. A strong showing with Kasich/Trump voters in the Boston suburbs there would probably be enough to carry the state, and that's going to be her defining moment.

3. Contrary to my username, figured I'd mention I'm fully onboard with the Cruz 2024 train now, so no bias here /shrug

She's the prohibitive frontrunner, because the Republican claim to hate identity politics is about as genuine as their claim to hate deficits and big government.

It's not identity politics so much as it's tokenism. The only identity that's getting affirmed here is the modern GOP's self-asserted "we're not racists!" identity.

And she's off my list. No thanks.

He also literally said he has no interest in running in 2024.

And of course he could never lie or change his mind. Didn't Obama originally say he wouldn't run in 2008 after 2004?
