And if the RNC made Condolezza Rice Pence’s running mate.

You mean if Trump dropped out of the race willingly, or if he's been thrown off the ticket against his will?  I don't think the latter is actually something that can legally happen, though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Clinton wins as the decision to kick Trump out of the race depresses Republican turnout.

Fmr. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D-NY) / Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) ✓
Governor Mike Pence (R-IN) / Fmr. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (R-AL)

The reaction from the Trump movement, and the image of an unstable Republican ticket (see McGovern swapping out Eagleton for Shriver), would hurt Pence badly. He would still have a strong floor because the reasons for low turnout among Clinton voters are unchanged.

I mean the latter.

There's probably a hastily organized Trump write-in campaign that would cause massive vote splitting.

Is less than a month enough time to put that together?

It's either that or the hardcore Trumpers sitting out which would probably have a similar result.
