Its so annoying having to deal with the way its currently set up. There is no order to it. Its all listed in a disorderly alphabet method. This makes it much harder to use than it really has the potential for, and makes it take much longer to create the maps desired from it.

Can we please have an actual order, maybe based on geography.

Alphabetical order may not be a good order (especially since it's based on nothing but the state's name), but to claim it's not an order at all is inaccurate. That said, a geographically-based alternative would be nice.

alphabetical order makes each state straightforward to find.   Any geographical order would have to arbitrarily convert a 2 dimensional space along 1 dimension.
