This is one of the reasons why I don't like my two Senators. (Well I shouldn't say that, Kohl's tolerable and a lot better than Feingold)

"Mr. Bipartisan" Ron Wyden showed his true colors to Oregon's voters when he supported the extreme left's attempt to keep Alito from an up or down vote.  Hopefully he will not get 65% of the vote next time.

"Mr. Blows with the Wind" Gordon Smith is supporting Alito, but I still think he'll eventually draw a tough primary challenger much like Packwood did before him.  Probably not in '08, but in '14.

That being said, at least ONE of my Senators is supporting one of the best Jurists to be nominated for the court in quite some time.
