Wait when are debate responses due? I'm a little tired rn so I would like to know.

Yeah, my back has been killing me as of late and I've been focused on writing my AH TL, so I need to know before I lose my opportunity.

I haven’t played one of these in awhile. I think I’ll run as Austin Petersen for the libertarian party.

Granted

Could anyone help explain how scheduling and turns work for this game because it seems different

Basically just pull something together from your announcement date to the end of October 2019 by Feb. 10 (you can skip this step if you planned to announce November 1 or later). You can also request an interview (Fox News is the current media outlet of the month), but you won't need to worry about debates prior to the general election unless another Libertarian joins.

From Feb. 11 to March 2, each IRL week is one month-long turn. Here, I will expect campaign schedules; they don't have to be incredibly detailed; anything from "Petersen spent a couple weeks in New Hampshire and a couple weeks in Iowa the end" to a day-by-day breakdown with speech excerpts will be accepted.

March 3 to May 5 is primary season, which, again, should just be more coasting for you unless another Libertarian joins. Schedules would be preferred, but I completely understand if you put one out for each in-game month (or even the entire primary season), rather than engaging in the usual primary-to-primary schedules that the Republicans and Democrats generally release.

May 6th until the end of the game is, obviously, the general election. May 6th - 12th and 13th - 19th are September and October 2020, respectively, and weekly (IRL) schedules become mandatory again. Furthermore, this is also the phase where you'll be invited to debate the Democratic and Republican nominees (probably only one presidential and one vice presidential debate).

The final phase is from May 20th to the 22nd IRL, and November 1-3, 2020 in-game. The 20th and 21st will be for final schedules and campaign event summaries (latter not mandatory), while the 22nd will be Election Day proper.

Has Ivanka dropped? She said she wouldn’t participate in debates.

She hasn't officially, but she hasn't done anything else in a while, either, so I'm considering her AFK. If she wants to come back, I'll edit the early state polls to reflect that.
