News websites, Google search results and online political forums will have comments deleted if the Government considers them 'fake news'.

https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2019-05-14/singapore-fake-news-law-threatens-free-speech-say-critics/11111946

I thought Google was against this sort of thing.

When in Rome.

Greatest country in the world continues to be great.

Isn't Switzerland better by almost every metric, both economic and in terms of democracy, freedom etc.?

They're both good. The only freedom that matters to me is economic freedom. I don't care about democracy lol. I only like politics as a spectator sport. Too much democracy is one of Switzerland's worst characteristics.

The PAP can only last so long before people get tired of their rule. Hopefully it’s end is sooner rather then later.

K Kawshigan, CEO of a drone racing company was chasing the affections of Nora Tan Shu Mei.

"[she] requested for their interactions to be reduced," according to a court transcript.

"This caused displeasure to [Mr Kawshigan], who felt that this would constitute 'taking a step back in the relationship'."

When Ms Tan then tried to impose boundaries and restrict contact with Mr Kawshigan, he threatened legal action for "monetary damages arising from negligent infliction of emotional distress and possible defamation".

Buangkok Square Attack

The assailant, Fadhil Yusop, 37, was recently sentenced to 18 months jail and 6 strokes of the cane.

Pretty lenient for Singapore to be honest.

People realy misunderstand the Singapore justice system, sentence lengths are incredibly lenient compared to most US states and comparable with most other developed countries.  This is due to the small size of the country making incarenation uniquely expensive and unaffrodable.

Singaporean judicial frameworks emphasis Deterrence followed by retributions as the primary purpose of the justice system with rehabilitation being a terirariy concern. The way this is squared is by the cane which provides a method of harsh sentencing without increasing sentence lenghts.

For any non-drug crime, the sentence you would recive in singapore would be a fraction you would get in the US.

Groups of otters fighting in formation to defend their territorial zones.

Otter Fight

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CuXTkS8gnhw/

Once the fight is on, my question is:

"How do they know which Otter's are from which Army?"

They don't have banners, weapons, colours or tribal songs.

"What are Otters doing in Singapore?"
