The US Navy is an absolute beast and allows the country to have such power on a global sphere. The airforce is also strong, but many countries also have a powerful airforce and I don't think ours is particularly special compared to them.

which Air Force do you think is closest in parity to the USAF?  Bonus points if you can pick one that isn't full of US made jets.  In theory (and certainly by numbers) the Russians and the PRC are 2 and 3, but as the last couple of years as shown, the Russian AF is a sad joke and the PRC is by most educated accounts, a paper tiger.

The Chinese Navy are also large, but not battle tested like the US Navy.
