My first choice is Cleveland, 4 hours from home and near the center of the path of totality--also where the Women's Final Four will be played the preceding weekend.

My second choice is Toledo, an hour from home.

A friend's sister is building a cabin in southeast Missouri, so that's a possibility.

Of course, this is the same sister whose house was in the 2017 eclipse path -- it rained -- so I'm not sure she's very good luck.

If I go to college in the Northeast like I plan to, probably Syracuse.

I'll probably just drive north into Western Kentucky or Southern Indiana (or west into Arkansas if the weather looks better there).

The 2017 one was so much easier for me...at the time, I lived in the path of totality!

Agreed, I went to see it in Salem, which was just an hour away. Now, the path of totality doesn't even pass anywhere near Oregon Sad

As I get older, I am told not to look at the Sun, not interested.
