And it isn't even close, according to Morning Consult!

What caused this sea of change? What caused the people of the great state of Hawai'i to finally reject Satan and his demonic presence once and for all?

As we all know, in 2018 *ge was faced with a daunting primary from Queen Hanabusa but he cast a spell over the state and slowly recovered using the darkest of all black magic.

Will he recover or is the Devil defeated forever?

I suspect he'll rig a contested 2020 DNC in his favor with the same spell that "won" him Hawaii both times.

Morning Consult is a trash pollster, but Raimondo's consistenly poor numbers are quite surprising considering that she won by as much as Clinton in 2018.

It is the eternal duty of the people to reject evil in all its forms. If the people of Hawaii are waking up to the Accursed One's use of dark magic to achieve his nefarious ends, it spells a brighter future for all America.

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. The demon so despicable even hell could not hold him must be exposed to the light of truth before it's too late.

When is the last time that Hawai'i, Connecticut, or Rhode Island actually liked their governors?

Jodi Rell was extremely popular in Connecticut in the 2000s. She was a Charlie Baker-type Republican who won reelection with over 60% in the 2006 of all years.

Hawaii seems to really hate their governors regardless of who they are.

Linda Lingle (R) was fairly popular as Governor of Hawai’i.

To answer your question based on a search of MC polling the last time each of the above states going back to May 2015 gave their Governor’s a net positive approval and majority approval were:

Hawai’i:
Q2 2019 David Ige 49-34
Q4 2018: David Ige 54-33

Connecticut:
Can’t find an instances of a net positive approval rating with this poll.

Rhode Island:
Q1 2017: Gina Raimondo 48-45

Hawaii could elect Hanabusa in 2018, but they didn't do it

If Democrat wins next year, I expect CT and RI will elect Republican in 2022

Lamont is unpopular is because of his plan for Tolls and Taxes.

He's a demon so wretched and vile that Satan kicked him out of hell for being too much to take. It's not surprising that the people of Hawai'i can't handle him either.

The economy of hawaii has been slowing down which is probably why he's not popular. As for Brown i don't think she ever had much popularity and always won due to the democratic base in the state. Oregon's economy has been going more smoothly but the problem for Brown is the percieved inability to deal with the homeless situation in Oregon(Oregon has a lot of native born homeless people due to high cost of housing and refusal for them to move to cheaper areas of Oregon because they either consider waiting out for hope in Portland to be better and especially since their used to amenities and services in Portland, and transient homeless who come for more generous social services and homeless people taking advantage of liberal areas being more sympathetic towards panhandlers)

And to a lesser extent the approval for democrats tend to be 2-5% lower had democrats been more partisian like republicans. Conservative republicans will approve of moderate republicans. DSA+Progressive democrats tend to not fall in line like the former in supporting moderates from the party their most similar to. Most of them would probably consider all four of them to be "centrist/moderate/neolibs".

Lamont is unpopular is because of his plan for Tolls and Taxes.

This and there's the general perception that he's just a feckless puppet of Looney and Aresimowicz. A lot of the other new taxes he's passed have also been pretty regressive, like taxes on prepared meals and a general base expansion of the sales tax without lowering the rate to compensate.

Thing is, though, it's a difficult needle to thread if you want to win the Mansion as an R here. You need to run up the numbers in CT-2 like Bob did, which I suppose comes with the territory nowadays, but you also need to not severely bleed support in the affluent suburbs west of The River that, while ancestrally R, are Country Clubbers who are well-off enough to nationalize a state-level race. Given their disdain for Trump, you can tell how they react to that nationalization. Someone like Mark Boughton or Erin Stewart could do it, just because those parts of CT-2 are becoming generally partisan, but I'm afraid that nominating someone like Bob, who is (inside info here) aiming to run again, would just produce a repeat of 2018.

Well Ige did almost lose the primary in 2018, but Hanabusa ran a bad campaign, which caused her lead to evaporate. Also Morning Consult is generally trash.

HI is the most expensive place to live and minimum wage is 10.10 an hour and you need a car. Very little Transportation,  similarly to San Francisco and Oakland. Most people are leaving HI and San Francisco and moving to AZ
