Democrats and Democratic leaners were asked which of these candidates they would consider voting for in 2024 if they run.  (You’re allowed to pick multiple names, which is why this adds up to way more than 100%.)

https://www.surveymonkey.com/curiosity/axiossurveymonkey-2024-presidential-vote-for-democrats/

Buttigieg 30%
Harris 26%
Booker 24%
Ocasio-Cortez 20%
Winfrey 20%
Abrams 18%
Klobuchar 18%
Joe Kennedy 14%
Newsom 10%
Bennet 7%
Emanuel 5%
McAuliffe 5%
Bullock 4%
Roy Cooper 4%
Lori Lightfoot 4%
Whitmer 3%
Landrieu 3%
Schatz 3%
Raimondo 2%
other 19%
no answer 11%

Presumably this is in a hypothetical world where Trump is reelected this time, so it would be an open field on the Dem. side in 2024.

AOC cannot win a Democratic nomination.

She is too divisive, and House members rarely get elected.

Says the guy who recently said that 2020 would be the last time that a white Democrat ever leads in the primaries.

I have a hard time believing 4% of national Democrats even know who Lori Lightfoot is. Also, who on Earth are the 2% voting Raimondo?

Given the wording of the question, it's probably just people being open-minded

Here’s some more ideas...

Tammy Baldwin
Kyrsten Sinema
Kirsten Gillibrand
Maggie Hassan
Jennifer Wexton
Mark Kelly (should he win senate this year)
Gretchen Whitmer
Maria Cantwell
Kate Brown
John Bel Edwards
Andy Beshear

I doubt Mark Kelly would win the Senate seat if Trump is being re-elected.
