There is a 3 way tie for 1946, of course. So today we have the last years of the Silent Generation (Lennon-Marley) and the first years of the Baby Boomers. Our linup includes:

John Lennon
Bob Dylan
Muhammed Ali
Mick Jagger
Diana Ross
Bill Clinton
George W. Bush
Donald Trump
David Bowie
Ozzy Osbourne
Bruce Springsteen

If you want to argue that boomers made good music, you have the last three.

So, your favorite?
