I don't. I go to Publix, where I order a chicken tender sub on whole wheat bread with buffalo sauce, ranch, & provolone.

I've had to go to this "restaurant" on military bases here and there where it's been the only option

Sandwich type: footlong veggie patty (also my Grindr profile name)

Bread: Italian herbs and cheese

Cheese: pepper jack

Toasted: yes

Vegetables: spinach, green peppers, banana peppers

Sauces: no, it's gross enough as is

Sandwich type: footlong cold cut

Bread: Italian herbs and cheese

Cheese: American

Toasted: no

Vegetables: lettuce and olives

Sauces: mustard, mayo, vinegar

It's Subway, and that's the absolute dirt cheapest option, if I wanted a good sandwich, I'd go elsewhere such as Potbelly.

I worked at a Subway back in the early 90s.  Good times.

It's Subway, if I wanted "way way better", I'd look elsewhere. I'm looking for "way way cheaper" thank you very much.

Subway is extremely tasty , its way better than Firehouse Subs , and Jimmy Johns. Also putting more veggies does not cost more at all

yeah, I'm not understanding the Subway hate.  The food is fresh and of at least mid level quality.  At least in my experience, there is more consistency between store/food quality with them than most other fast food places.  Maybe they aren't as good as the "new" generation of sub shops, but certainly cheaper and much more ubiquitous.

Sure, I too eat Subway when I must, which is about once a month, but I don't think it's good.

No excuse to eat there if you're anywhere remotely civilized, as you can easily get a banh mi or falafel wrap or an Italian sub or a deli sandwich or whatever from hundreds of mom and pops or chains in any city. Even in food desert Mississippi, you can go to Newk's or McAlister's or Whole Foods...

Maybe 3-4 years ago, I was driving through Mississippi and stopped to get gas and the restaurant in the gas station was a Subway.  Got a meatball sub with jalapenos and brown mustard.  Wasn't a great moment in culinary dining, but when your on the road....
