Thousands of marine worms known as "Fat Inkeeper Worms" have washed up on Drake's Beach north of San Francisco.

Rare biological phenomenon. These worms, Urechis caupo, grow up to 10 inches and can live for 25 years.

Correction: San Francisco is overrun with penises that some people like to put in their mouths (yes, apparently folks eat fat innkeeper worms - aka Chinese penis fish - in China, Japan, and both Koreas).
