Lol at that being news , anyway the real monarch of the UK now is Boris Johnson, just like how it was Blair from 1997-2005 and Thatcher was in the 1980s

Might only become relevant if Meghan decides to run for office in the U.S one day.

The idea of Prince Harry becoming First Gentlemen of California or even the United States has something hilarious. Cheesy

That old English lady I know from playing with her in an impro theatre group in Berlin specifically obtained German citizinship due to Brexit. She also let her British passport expire and doesn't intend to get herself a new one for the forseeable future. I guess Brexit means that some Remainers left.

It seems with Donald Trump gone, the world has finally found its new laughing stock!

To translate the headline and teaser from yesterday's editorial of a major German newspaper's website: "Boris Johnson doesn't govern. He is only playing PM. The man is caught in the biggest, perhaps last crisis of his term. It becomes apparent what he always was: a seducer and a loudmouth."

It's still very much a political move by the police, whose policy so far had consistently been one of not retroactively pursuing Covid-related breaches.

BoJo is not Average Joe Sixpack from Sheffield though, but the Prime Minister. It is to be expected that he held to a higher standard, especially since a) as PM he was politically responsible for the existence of COVID restrictions in the first place and b) he has by now an established history of lying about breaking the COVID rules.

Johnson’s prepped line about Starmer for PMQs, “He’s a lawyer not a leader!” seems poorly timed, given he may need one, and certainly may be facing some shortly.

It also plays to Starmer’s biography and assets, letting Labour run lines about “prosecuting the case against the government”.

"I would prefer to be led by a lawyer than a liar, will he resign?" - Lloyd Russell-Moyle, Labour MP

Sunak essentially just rebuffed Johnson. Also, Mirza's other half is close to Sunak.

It's now more than just Boris' hair that is in DISARRAY!

Whatever the motivation - it’s just an awful way to operate. Personally, it’s created the impression that Johnson is a man who has never been told no, never forced to back down, and so has no emotional response more mature than throwing his toys out of the pram.

Sounds like a certain former U.S. president.

Sacking Gove is such a chad move. Staying with a skeleton cabinet...I almost admire him. He has to go down in legend.

It sure will make one hell of a movie.

Michelle Donelan has resigned and become surely the briefest Education Secretary there has ever been or ever will be.

Anarchy in the UK!
