Writing an Alternate History Novel; Need some help

So I'm going to attempt to write an alternate history novel over the following months. My Timeline and game updates will be coming in much slower due to this fact. Now, as for what the novel is about, it's going to be set in the late 17th century with a minor change for a really obscure figure in history. I'm not going to give away much because I don't want to disappoint you guys if I fail in writing it. Now, I'll need some help. By help, I mean people who have some more extensive research in that era as I have no real cash to buy any books on the subject. I'll also be needing translators, so people who can speak both English and the following languages : Swedish, Polish, Russian, German, Danish, French, and Turkish.
