For those who don't know what I'm taking about, it's this. You access it by clicking the "map" option at the top of the page.

I've noticed that my pin isn't on there. I first placed my pin last...April, I wanna say? Some time early this year, after the site transitioned from Google Maps to OpenStreetMap. However, when I zoom into the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area where I placed my pin, it doesn't display it. Has Dave ever updated the map? Was there a glitch with putting my pin up?

My pin is still there and I think I did it yeas ago.  Sad to see how many Atlas posters were lost at sea, though.

Maybe putting it in the sea = wants to place a pin somewhere but would rather not give away their own location.

Thats definitely how it was for me, although I placed mine in an Island near Antarctica instead.

I've noticed a lot of people putting theirs in either Alaska or Antarctica.
