Has anyone had a chance to play it, what do you think? It's has very meh reviews sadly. I want to be able to smash Greece and Carthage and make the Mediterranean a Roman lake.

It didn't appeal to me when it first launched, since it looked like a bland map painter. But it seems like it's getting better as Paradox continues to support it, which is pretty much par for the course for Paradox.
