On the Wikipedia page about the 1988 Republican presidential primaries, Nevada is colored green to indicate that Pat Robertson won that primary contest on February 18. Yet, in the statewide results it says that George H. W. Bush won Nevada with 27 % of the vote over Bob Dole’s 22 % while Robertson came third with 15 %. A little confusing or is it just a mistake?

Bush won the caucus with the numbers shown in the table:

Bush 26.6%
Uncommitted 23.1%
Dole 22.4%
Robertson 14.4%
Kemp 12.8%

What happened was that Robertson's supporters pulled a Ron Paul and had a bunch of "ninja delegates" among the uncommitted crowd and some of the others, and they took control of the state convention and gave most of NV's delegates to Robertson.
