The Simpsons may be ending in 2020

Unpopular opinion, but I still like the Simpsons (though not nearly as much as I did for the first ten seasons or so).

The Simpsons is a fine show.  Certainly better than the average television show on the networks in 2019.  The WORST Simpsons ever is 4 times as entertaining as the best karaoke show.

Wrong.

sure, kind of boring, but still better than the best America's Got Talent or American Idol ever.

It's not boring, it's total cringe. There isn't a word in English to properly describe it but there is in German: fremdschämen

I'll never understand why people would want a show off the air that they don't watch.  Shows you don't watch can't hurt you, I'm not sure why you think they would.  Do you want everything gone that you don't appreciate?  Do you want musicians you don't listen to stop making music?  Directors you don't like to stop making movies?  Does this stem from your desire to ban things that other people enjoy?
