I'm surprised Bernie's been gaining all this steam.  You'd think voters would have been HESITANT about him after the heart attack.

I guess Warren really let down her Bernie-to-Warren base, and they're slowly but surely flocking back to him.


I think it's a combination of a sympathy boost and the fact that he bounced back remarkably quickly to his usual campaign trail energy afterwards. I certainly didn't expect him to continue being high energy after that, and I think a lot of other voters were surprised by him in a positive way.


Yeah, I can't think of another election in living memory where the collapse of a candidate's health actively boosted them.

Sanders is gonna win IA and NH, but after that, it's not known what happens and John Kerry just endorsed Biden, which helps as well.
