Why are people with otherwise left-of-centre preferences saying they'd vote for the Liberal Party in Colombia?

Flanders: sp.a
Wallonia: Socialist
Knowing you, i'm quite sure you wouldn't vote for s.pa, especially seeing your other voting preferences. PVDA-PTB isn't as communist as you think honestly, and s.pa and PS have been in lots of corruption scandals recently. And those below are a number of scandals, but it continues and they're a corrupt establishment party, which is why i'll never vote social democrat at least as long it's in it's current state.

I doubt it honestly. In Wallonia yes, but Open VLD is right-wing in Flanders and is moving to the right. They are in favour of pro-austerity policies, anti-socialist and social democrat, and have been criticized a lot for it. They are a conservative liberal party, not just a liberal party. They even discussed breaking ties with MR because they're still a center party that works together with greens and social democrats.

About Russia, i've talked to Russians who are anti-Putin and they've said that Yabloko is a splinter party that also really isn't against Putin. Russia of the Future is the only real opposition. Communist Party of Russia sort of supports Putin as well, and Putin tolerates them. Liberal Democrats idem. The social democrat A Just Russia idem. Rodina is a party founded by Putin's puppets to direct votes from the communist party towards Rodina.

I would still vote for the biggest opposition party in Russia and that's the communist party, but it all doesn't make sense, because nothing will change. Russia of the Future is constantly blocked by elections. There's no real opposition in Russia, only fake opposition. If i had to vote now i would try to defeat United Russia by voting for one fake opposition party, in a hopeless attempt to get an upset defeat, but you know that even when that happens (like in 1996) there will be fraud. Russia is a fake democracy, like so many countries are.

Of course you can't know it, and i would vote Russia of the Future if they were bigger. The Communist Party is socially conservative (unfortunately), marxist-leninist and have criticized our party from leaving their party line, and our party broke ties years ago. They're still the same old communist party as earlier, but Putin's United Russia which is also state capitalist and authoritarian isn't much better. Nothing really changed at all in Russia.

Socialist Party of Serbia is literally the party of Slobodan Milošević and his regime. The consequences of their rule during the 90s (much of the time together with far-right Serbian Radical Party) are still felt today. And now they are in power again, first from 2008 with Boris Tadić's Democratic Party ("historic compromise" which was a historic insult to many Democrats and their voters who fought in the 90s against SPS rule) and now from 2012 with Serbian Progressive Party, a breakaway faction of their 90s ally Serbian Radical Party.

Serbia: Social Democratic Party of Serbia

This is a minor party of Rasim Ljajić, whose main achievement is being in almost every government from 2000 to today. The party has never contested elections alone and even their members don't know of any of their policy achievements, other than helping them get public sector jobs.

Updated

Only in South Africa, UK and arguably Italy/Russia, i vote right-wing. Although i wouldn't say M5S is right-wing, and in Russia i choose for the (united) democratic forces, as the communist party there is utter trash and supportive of Putin and authoritarianism. I believe BoJo is an excellent prime minister, and my vote would mainly be of support of him, although in some constituencies i wouldn't vote for the Tories if i didn't like the candidate, but that applies to all countries when i make an in-depth choice. In Scotland, i would return to the SNP after being a huge supporter of Scottish independence. I would also make my vote out of protest with the direction Labor is going in. I could also just abstain, it would really depend on the constituency.

In South-Africa, i choose for the right-wing party as the left parties are too corrupt and too anti-establishment and the Democratic Union is a liberal party. It's a weird country to vote in, but I'm quitte sure about my vote.

In Belgium where i can actually vote, i'm a safe PVDA voter. In the corona crisis they've proven theirselves to focus on the right issues, to help wherever possible and criticize what has to be criticized, while i really like that they donate money to the corona crisis. They're doing a great job handling the corona crisis while at first i was afraid corona would hurt the PVDA electorally because of more support flowing back to gvment parties, i'm now quite sure that PVDA would at least stay status quo (around 8%, the poll with 9%+ where they overtake the greens is too optimistic, and i refuse to believe that poll), while in Wallonia there is still room to grow after getting back to 17%.

Hungary: Can't believe I'm saying it now, but Jobbik. I can't in good conscience vote for Ferenc Gyurzansy's party and the Socialist record in govt only looks good when compared to Orban's. I also don't think I can get behind the full-blown social liberalism of the Momentum Movement even if I agree with it on some important social and cultural issues. This decision however is only because Jobbik has moderated considerably and it is not like its pre-2017-ish self anymore. Before then, I'd probably be forced into being a Momentum Movement voter due to lack of better options.

Romania:Tactical vote for USR-PLUS
Baltic Countries: lmao
Greece: KKE and MeRa25, whichever one has a lower chance to make it to parliament
Turkey: Halkların Demokratik Partisi Or TIKKO depending on the area. May swallow my pride and vote CHP to end the AKP
Japan: Japanese Communist Party the only stable opposition in Japan
South Korea: Justice tactical vote, Minjung otherwise
South Africa:SWRP
Kenya: The opposition
Ethiopia: Medrek
Australia:Abstention
New Zealand:Greens tactical vote
Uruguay: Frente Ampilo
Argentina: FIT, I’d never vote for a Peronist or Kirchernist, or anyone who aligns with them
Chile: Frente Amplio
Peru: Frente Ampilo
Paraguay: Frente Guasú
Bolivia: Movimiento al Socialismo–Instrumento Político por la Soberanía de los Pueblos
Colombia: POLO or Decency List
Suriname: APOB
Indonesia: Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan tactical vote, abstention otherwise
Burma: Abstain or the student movement party
Malaysia: Parti Socialis, because PH are made of complete idiots and moderate Islamists
Singapore: Workers Party
Taiwan: Abstention, Green Party if pressed. Not because the parties there are all particularly bad, it’s just that the ones that aren’t rabid conservatives are very bland and ostensibly centrist.
Nepal: Communist Party
North Macedonia : Social Democrats tactical vote, abstention otherwise
Benin:Cowry Forces for an Emerging Benin
Mali: African Solidarity for Democracy and Independence
Afghanistan: Abstention
Tunisia: Popular Front
Sri Lanka: JVP
Pakistan: The Pashtun Trots
India: Left Front
Israel: Abstention or Joint List
Iraq: Abstention
Lebanon: LCP
Jordan: Abstention, then the JCP or random leftist Palestinian parties
Palestine: Once they have elections, either PFLP or DFLP

While not a liberal, multiparty democracy, I view Cuba as sufficiently democratic enough to participate in their elections. Can’t say the same for Vietnam or the other grossly current revisionist states since their foundations. I’d vote for the social and governmental reformist but Economically Orthodox politicians there.

Everywhere else is either a dictatorship or I’m too unfamiliar to say. This doesn’t take into account changing political situations in which I would relent more to do tactical voting

Edit: forgot these two
Kosovo: Vetëvendosje
Iceland: Icelandic Socialist Party

Quebec: Liberal

Northern America:
Canada: Liberal or NDP, whoever is best placed to defeat the Conservatives/BQ
Quebec: No thank you
USA: Democratic Party
Mexico: I know nothing about Mexican politics. I guess a centre-left party that isn't hideously corrupt if one exists.

Central and Southern America:

I don't know a damn thing about any of these countries so just take the Mexican explanation.

Europe:
England: Liberal Democrats, since April 4 Labour in a marginal unless the candidate is very objectionable
Scotland: Labour or Liberal Democrats, whoever is best placed to stop the SNP. Whoever the f!ck I want in an SNP-Tory marginal because there is no winner I will like.
Wales: Same as England, but add Plaid if they are the anti-Tory option.
Northern Ireland: SDLP or Alliance. If neither of them is on the ballot, spoil.
Ireland: Probably Labour, albeit not very enthusiastically. FF preferenced above FG and not a goddamn thing for the IRA.
Iceland: Don't know much about this one. I guess Left-Green or Social Democratic?
Sweden: Social Democratic
Catalonia: PSC-PSOE I suppose, although I honestly couldn't say whether a hypothetical Catalan me would support independence or not.
Basque Country: PSE-EE with the same caveat as above
Spain: PSOE
Portugal: PS
France: PS until 2017, LREM since, albeit with rapidly diminishing enthusiasm
Netherlands: Errrrrrrrrrr.... PvdA?
Flanders: yikes
Wallonia: PS
Germany: SPD. Yeah, yeah, I know....
Bavaria: Green
Austria: SPO
Switzerland: Social Democrats
Italy: hahahah oh dear. PD, I suppose, while being rather unhappy about it.
Sweden: Didn't I already do this one?
Norway: Labour
Finland: Social Democratic
Denmark: Social Democrats
Czech Republic: Errr.... CSSD? I think, probably, yeah. Can't think of anyone else.
Poland: Jesus christ. KO
Slovakia: We're beginning to reach countries I don't know anything about but all of the parties look pretty awful here
Slovenia: Social Democrats? I guess
Croatia: SDP I suppose
Romania: There are too many Eastern European countries nowadays. Please eliminate three. I am not a crackpot.
Bulgaria: I don't bloody know
Greece: I can't even laugh at pathetic it is here now. I guess the successor to PASOK with unbelievably small amounts of enthusiasm. Certainly not Sh!triza.
I'm not doing the rest of the Eastern European ones. If there's a non-corrupt, non-closet full of skeletons centre-left party then that.

Rest of the World:
South-Africa: Honestly? I think it's impossible to say as a white guy. An experience of a white South African DaWN would be so vastly different from my actual experience it's just not fair to say.
India: Whoever looks like they're best placed to defeat the BJP. So unfortunately that means the INC a lot.
Israel: Whoever looks best placed to stop Netanyahu. Probably Labor back in the day but that ship has sailed
Turkey: Whatever won't get me shot
Russia: See above
Japan: Honestly I'd probably just sit it out
South-Korea: Democratic I guess, unless they have some major skeletons I don't know about.
Australia: Labor
New Zealand: Labour

At a glance, I would be inclined to oppose separatism in Quebec, Wales, NI, and Scotland. I would be a swing voter virtually everywhere. I would be inclined but not guaranteed to vote against Trudeau's Liberals. I have sympathies toward AMLO in Mexico and might support his party as a result. I have sympathies for the Brexit Party in the UK. In the Netherlands, I would probably vote for one of those Christian Democratic parties--I forget the name. I would also be inclined to vote against the left in Australia, NZ, and South Africa probably. In the US, I expect to continue voting in the D primary and to vote D at the state level (at least for Gov and state leg) while being flexible federally.

That you can’t tell me which or what those are tells me all I need to know
