Back in 2001, when everyone at my school were excited about the TV series, I decided to watch one episode to see what's the big deal. That experience successfully immunized me from all Pokemon-related things forever.
The TV series is like the worst part of the Pokémon franchise.

Hopefully everyone realizes that this is just as fake and focused grouped to hell as when Obama said he watched Game of Thrones and that his favorite character was "the little guy, what's his name?"

She's clearly killing it in the millennial/Gen Z autistic demographic.

She sure is. FF!

Even as a six year old I hated the series. I especially hated Ash and Pikachu. Team Rocket were okay though, I wish they had their own spin-off.

Okay, but does she object to when "white hipsters" come into her district to play Pokemon Go?

The worst kind of gentrification

The worst kind of gentrification was nazi poster boy Luke Skywalker getting a whole klan of white folks to bust up Vader's hood, trying to drive out the black element to make the galaxy quote unquote "safe" for white folks.

What? No, the trading card game is pretty great. Maybe it used to suck, I don't know, but I have been playing the free online card game for the last year and it is cool. Also, I love that you don't have to spend any money playing it.

My fourteen year old son can now have his first pinup girl.

He'll think of AOC in the same vein I thought of Raquel Welch when I was 14 if this gets out.

Somehow, being relatable to Gen Z means that AOC is going to give up her congressional seat and any future presidential campaigns to do bikini photoshoots bending over classic cars.

You know, I'm not even a Pokemon fan anymore (and was never really into the franchise as a whole), but I still do appreciate having someone in government who can relate to that experience. It is nice to have that kind of #representation (even if there are far more important aspects of course).
