Instructions and important information

This election will last for exactly 72 hours beginning at 12:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on Friday, November 22 and ending at 12:00 AM on Monday, November 25. All votes cast outside of this period will be counted invalid.

Ballot instructions
1. Please vote for the candidate of your choosing on both races on the ballot. The election is carried out using single transferable vote and instant runoff voting, so you may rank the candidates as you please.

2. You are permitted, but not advised, to edit your ballot within 20 minutes of posting it in this thread. Editing your ballot more than 20 minutes after posting it in this voting booth will cause it to be counted invalid.

3. Please check over your ballot thoroughly before you click "Post". You have no excuse for casting a ballot which contains errors or does not accurately reflect your preferences. Failure to correct errors in your ballot may result in its disqualification.

4. It is a crime against the Republic of Atlasia to a) delete your ballot after the voting period is closed and before the results are certified or delete your ballot after the 20 minute edit period and revote and/or b) intimidate or attempt to place undue pressure on a voter to delete their ballot as outlined in part a or invalidate their ballot.

5. Please note multiple posts within the voting booth (with the exception of the original ballot post posted by the election administrator) are prohibited and will result in your ballot being invalid.  

Eligibility
You are eligible to vote in this election if you (a) have registered with the federal Census Bureau as a voter of one of the states of this region; (b) have not had your voting rights stripped as the result of deregistration or court order; (c) meet all other requirements set forth in Article V of the Constitution of Lincoln; (d) have been a registered voter of Lincoln for the past week and (e) have made 10 posts in the last 8 weeks (posts only count if made before the start of this election).

Official certification of Electoral Results
November 22-24, 2019

The region of Lincoln of Atlasia, under its Minister of Regional Elections Peanut, having conducted free and fair elections for the soon-commencing Gubernatorial term, as well as a referendum on the Screwing Around With Borders Amendment to the Constitution of the Republic, between the twenty-second and twenty-fifth days of the month of November of the year 2019, and counted the votes therein cast, hereby certifies the following results:

In the Gubernatorial race, a total of 37 valid votes were cast. The distribution of such votes is as follows.

2 votes were cast for Mr. DKrol of Massachusetts.

25 votes were cast for Mr. Jimmy7812 of Pennsylvania.

10 write-in votes for Mr. LouisvilleThunder of Kentucky were recorded.

Jimmy7812, having achieved a total of 67.57% of valid votes cast, is hereby elected Governor of Lincoln.


In the Amendment referendum, a total of 36 valid votes were cast. Their distribution is as follows:

16 votes were cast in favor of the ratification of the Amendment.

18 vofes were cast against the ratification of the Amendment.

2 abstentions were recorded.

As such, having only the support of 47% of valid Yes/No votes, the Amendment fails to meet the threshold necessary and its ratification is opposed by the region of Lincoln.
