He represents a very Trumpish district, tends to be at least somewhat socialy conservative, and, most likely, was reelected last year mainly because he was unopposed. No big surprizes here.

Democrats are such spineless chickensh*ts. Meanwhile you have Collins acting as a full-on MAGAbot while representing a D-leaning state.

1) Collins is and always has been a center-Left senator
2) Maine isn't all that D-leaning any more

Collins is a Republican hack.

She's basically a democrat.

She voted for Brett Rapenaugh

So? That was merely a common-sense vote -- not partisan. Plenty of liberal republican senators voted for Kavanaugh.

There are no "liberal republican" senators.
This

Right NOW - of course. They existed in the past, but now even Collins, who is usually considered to be "the most liberal"of the group, is right-of-center.

I'm impressed that Atlas Dems have somehow made a D in the PA Senate jumping ship an indictment of Susan Collins.

In present polarized world - not so surprising. Democrats will attack everyone with "R" after his name, even if that would be Jacob Javits reincarnated, and Republicans - the same with James Eastland in his place. Idiocy flourishes in US politics now.
