I've been hearing a lot about these two lately, and they have a lot in common. Both are named Nicole. Both are fairly young. Both are their state's only Democratic office-holder. Both won election in 2018 even as the incumbent Democratic senator at the top of the ticket lost. Both are foils to Republican governors who are doing poorly with COVID. Both have been cited as key figures for revitalizing their state's Democratic Party. Both are considered Democratic frontrunners for their state's next governor's race. Both would be their state's first female governor if elected.

If they become governor, they could both become viable presidential contenders. Who is more likely to become a president one day?
