Devil in the White City - Erik Larson

Excellent take on Gilded Age Chicago at the time of the World's Fair and a serial killer using the fair too.

Just started reading George Orwell's Animal Farm.

Funny, I'm doing that book with my class.

Finished: The Comfort Crisis, Mike Easter

Current: The Scarcity Brain, Mike Easter

Both are very well written accounts of the human brain and its drive for comfort and how lizard-brained it gets when things are scarce and what happens when something is in abundance. Lots of great little anecdotes here and there.

But I think I'll be reading something fictional when I'm done with these.
