What is your opinion of Terminator: Dark Fate, the movie that came out recently and couldn't be saved by Linda Hamilton and James Cameron? Also, how would you rate the Terminator movies?

The first Terminator is one of the best sci-fi films of all time.  T2 is, in most ways, even better.  T3 was a let down.  I haven't seen anything in the franchise since.

T1 is good, T2 is great, T3 was pretty meh, T4 was flawed-but-enjoyable, T5 was pretty bad. Haven't seen Dark Fate yet.

Terminator 2 and Terminator 1 are good and in that order of greatness. Terminator: Salvation is the best out of four movies that after the first two movies. Terminator: Dark Fate was a steaming pile of s**t.

T1 and T2 were legendary, Terminator: Dark Fate was very good, but I haven't seen the other ones.

It seems like Hollywood doesn't know how to make a good Terminator movie anymore.

The problem is the story really did conclude after the 2nd one so all the rest of the movies were just Hollywood milking the Franchise for easy money

Haven't seen Dark Fate and maybe I never will.

The third, fourth, and fifth installments of the franchise were all sh**t. It's like Old School Republican said, the storyline had already been concluded with Terminator 2 and they've been continously retconning an unconclusion to the story ever since.

With the fifth movie they've also started an annoying trend of continously rebooting the franchise, meaning there's no continuity anymore and the movies simply stopped building onto each other. From this point on they're apparently producing an infinite number of alternate sequels to Terminator 2 where to conclusion of said movie is always undone, otherwise there wouldn't even be a sequel. This means that Terminator has essentially become the Groundhog Day of movie franchises.

"Judgement Day will ALWAYS happen, no matter what the characters will do" also isn't much of a plot, except if they want to show us the ultimate futility of human life. Maybe the fourth film dealt with this dilemma the best way in simply setting the movie post-Judgment Day. Perhaps they should have continued down this lane, even if it had resulted in the franchise becoming "Mad Max with robots".

What was going on with Terminator: Genisys? Were they going to make two sequels to that movie or something?
