P.S. What are the parties now?
You might fit in with the National Liberal Coalition, or NLC.
I guess I will join NLC.
The Federalists may be a good fit as well, along with the PLP. They are all on the Wiki.
Well, that covers just about every party active in North Carolina, doesn't it?

The three big ones, anyway. (And I think we are finally moving back towards party consolidation, where there are only a few serious parties. I remember when I joined there were no active party structures at all and each party had maybe three or four active members at most!)
I think that a system of 3 or 4 major, stable parties, each representing one clear-cut ideology which they alone represent, is a very good thing.

I'm the chairman of the PLP. I must I'd like to have some more moderate voices in the party to add to discussions at convention.
Incidentally, when is the next convention?

The Democratic party is pretty much dead, if you'd like, you could join the PLP, of which I am the chairman. Quite a few of us have similar ideologies to yours.
I concur.

Sexism pig.
Don't think a guy would get treated any different in your situation. If you stop playing the sexism card, we won't bother you about it. If you want real discussion, don't go to this thread or the Forum Community threads. Go to the other threads, and you won't have to be so combative.
By the way, you can't just register and go and be elected President. There are 24 other elected offices in Atlasia, and you're likely going to have to hold at least one to go anywhere in Atlasia.

I must hold other office before running for President? That doesn't sound fair.
Well, you need experience. Without that, people won't vote for you. You should ceck out the Wiki for an introduction to Atlasia.

Remind me to recommend it to Rockefeller Republican.

I knew you would say something like that Xahar. I reminds me of Friday when I was asked about what wing I belonged to in the Liberal Party. And my response was, "The What-the-Hell-Am-I-Doing-Here Wing". I guess you can say that about the NLC.
But you're staying anyway, or what?

I am disbanding from the National Liberal Coalition. I was one of it's founding members, however I have decided to move on. Like I usually do in Atlasian politics, except without the founding members part.
SO STARTING THE DAY AFTER THE FEBRUARY 2008 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION:
Name: Rockefeller Republican
State: Maine
Party:
Progressive Liberal Party
Welcome to the party!

The Republican Party isn't active. You may want to consider the Federalists, or the Life and Liberty Party (formerly the Ron Paul Party).

Welcome to the Northeast, MAS117 is your Governor, I am your Lieutenant Governor
.
Thank you Lt Gov Rockefella Republican, Verily and AndrewCT for your warm welcome. Sorry to be so long in responding, I haven't visited this thread in a couple of weeks...
And I am (one of your) Senator(s), specifically the Regional Senator for the Northeast. Mr. Moderate is your District Senator, though we just abolished Districts for the election after next.
And I am your Chief Judicial Officer. I sit behind a big desk, wear a robe, and wait for cases to come my way.....I don't need to wear a robe, but it feels so nice without pants.
Anyways, welcome to the region!

Does the LLP still exist?
Parties never cease to exist in Atlasia, unless they run out of members. The LLP had a Senator until very recently.

Welcome to Atlasia. Unfortunately, you registered too late to be able to vote in this election.
